Claire Jordan

Claire joined us in 2014 having served six years in the Royal Army Dental Corps and wanting to return to Devon to continue her career. She qualified at Birmingham University and is also a Member of the Joint Dental Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons.

Amongst her patients, she has already gained a reputation for being a well respected professional dentist. Her ethos is to provide complete all-around dental care of a high quality, focusing on prevention and gaining the trust of her patients by explaining things every step of the way. Taking pride in making her patients feel relaxed and comfortable, Claire likes to see them walk away with confidence in their smile and the knowledge of how to maintain their oral health.

Claire has just completed the first of a two year Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics (Root Canal Fillings) at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute which is part of University College London. This diploma will qualify her to have a special interest in Endodontics and she is now accepting external referrals.

What you need to know about Claire Jordan

Claire is thrilled to be back in Devon where she grew up. She attended Exeter School and joined the Army to experience dentistry in a different environment. In her spare time, she loves to sing and play the guitar and can often be found performing in local pubs. She is a keen road cyclist and alpine skier and loves the outdoors. Recently married to Ben (another Ben, not ours!) who masterminded The Bear Trail in Cullompton, they are in the process of renovating their old house. When they need a break from the house work they love to go walking on Dartmoor with their two flat-coated Retrievers Monty and Whoopi. Next time you are in ask Claire about her alpacas!
